Ideal Farmers Youth Recognition Award (IFYRA) Ceremony 2023
According to Knoema, the youth population of Cameroon is increasing at an average annual rate of 6.43%. Leaving from 6.06 million yours in 2005 to 8.65 million youths in 2019.
(IFYRA) is an initiative brought forth by Ideal Farmers. With aim of identifying, recognising, motivating and promoting youths in the agricultural sector. This is an event which will be carried out yearly. Will keep the youths focused and will push them to put more energy to be able to get on this podium.
IFYRA process has three phases which include:
- The Nomination Phase: Here the general public nominated agriculturalists under various categories. List of categories here.
- The Voting Phase: The next stage is the voting phase. Those with the highest nominations in the previous stage get to the Voting Phase. Here, the general public voted for their ideal agriculturalists.
- The IFYRA Ceremony: Those who excel in the voting and evaluation stage get awarded in this ceremony.
The IFYRA 2023 Ceremony
The IFYRA Ceremony 2023 took place on the 24th of February 2023. The event was hosted at the Salle de Fete Arena Bonamoussadi Douala.
The event welcomed stakeholders in Agriculture from different parts of Cameroon. Dressed in their traditional wear to receive and congratulate one another.
